Diagnostics

In-House Laboratory

We can run a variety of tests in our in-house lab, which means in most cases, we can have results for complete blood counts, general chemistries, electrolytes, and some urine and fecal tests within 30 minutes.

If your pet needs laboratory work beyond our scope, we are happy to send blood work or other testing to an outside lab that will send results to us.

Radiography (X-rays)

We offer in-house radiography (X-rays) and can send images to a board-certified radiologist when needed. Radiographs can detect abnormalities such as skeletal fractures, soft tissue damage, foreign bodies, and dental disease.

Some radiographs require the patient to remain completely still, so sedation may be necessary. If so, the duration of sedation is usually short and patient recovery is swift.
